Jedna mala digresija. Imate reciomo ovo:
XY, a suffrutescent or herbaceous, short-lived perennial.
Kod ovoga konkretno nije bilo bitno je li biljka grm, polu-grmi ili nešto treće. Već karakteristika njene stabljike, koja može biti drvasta (znači ima koru, grančice kvrcnu, pucnu kad ih slomite kao kod pravog drva) ili može biti mekana, zelena, sočna kao kod trave- tavasta. To je posebno bitno kod biljnih prirpavaka jer drvenasta stavbljika ima drukčija svojstva (koristi se kod drugih simptoma ili bolesti) od zelenog dijela biljke - lista ili plodova ili cvjeta. Dok kod zelene, travaste stabljike ona ima ista svojstva kao i ostali dio biljke, za razliku od cvjeta ili ploda.
