banner

Definition from Economic Faculty of Osijek, Croatia:

Example sentence(s):
- Startprogram

Explanation:
Banner has no equivalent in Croatian language, accepted and in wider use by providers of internet marketing services. There is a term ("zastavica") that can be found in very rare cases and it is a literal translation of the word banner in its meaning of flag. But, providers and users of services recognise and use the word banner pronouncing it b˄n'er.
