Sí bé el Termcat proposa aquesta traducció, explicació masculina condescendent, estic d'acord amb l'article de Rudolf Ortega. Més que una traducció (oficial, això sí, i per això la suggereixo al glossari de proz) és una definició. A l'hora d'utilitzar-la en una traducció de l'anglès an català crec que s'hauria d'agafar la idea i adaptar el terme segons el text tal com suggereix el senyor Ortega.
