These revised procedures affecting how we report your daughter's progress are a result of national educational changes which see the end of national curriculum levels that have become so familiar over recent years. Instead of national curriculum levels we will now measure progress against GCSE criteria which themselves are changing from letters to numbers ranging from 1 to 8, with a grade 9 being awarded to the very top achieving students (based on a national limited percentage of candidates being awarded a grade 9).
