1. Resilience is the ability to adapt well to adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, and other significant sources of stress.

2. We want our children to believe in their ability to recover from setbacks (resilience).

I am also quoting a few sentences with the term "resilient".

1. Resilient children and teens bounce back from frustrations and recover from setbacks; they are able to take difficult situations in stride.

2. Resilient children are able to easily interact and engage with others.

It would be great if you can suggest the appropriate meaning for both "resilience" and "resilient". I am asking about two terms in a question because they are very much relevant.
