English term or phrase: Slums: Human Rights Live Here
I have received a translation of the above phrase (Slums: Human Rights Live Here) as: বস্তিঃ মানবাধিকার যেখানে অবিস্ফোরিত
My questions are:
1. Do you think this is a correct Bengali translation?
2. Please provide reason for your opinion. Why it is correct or why it is wrong?
3. Please suggest a correct translation only if you think the above translation is wrong.
Please provide all your explanation in English and Only the Bengali translation in Bangla fonts. Thank you!

বস্তি: যেখানে মানবাধিকার বিদ্যমান
Explanation:
The meaning of "live" (when the word is an adjective) can't be "অবিস্ফোরিত" when the subject is "human rights". For "অবিস্ফোরিত" English term "unexploded" is used.

So the translation provided here by the asker is wrong. The best translation should be, "বস্তি: যেখানে মানবাধিকার বিদ্যমান". A translator shouldn't translate the corresponding words and s/he must make a sense in his expression.

slums: human rights live here
বস্তি: মানবাধিকারের বাসস্থান / মানবাধিকার যেখানে থাকে

Explanation:
It is a wrong answer. The right one should be:
বস্তি: মানবাধিকারের বাসস্থান / মানবাধিকার যেখানে থাকে
Explanation:
'live here' means to live or to dwell in a place. English term for বিস্ফোরিত is 'exploded'. Original word is 'explosion' and Bengali term for that is বিস্ফোরণ. And অবিস্ফোরিত is the opposite of বিস্ফোরিত.
অবিস্ফোরিত - this term is not generally used in Bengali. It mean something which have not exploded yet.

slums: human rights live here
বস্তি: মানবাধিকারের যেখানে বসবাস

Explanation:
Please let me announce that the translation in question is also correct, because the translator has (apparently) used the meaning of "live" not as a verb (to reside, to dwell), but as an adjective "live", as in a live bomb (=unexploded bomb). Indeed, human rights issues in slum areas may explode suddenly at any time with serious questions to the society.

However, translation with "live" as a verb is also very meaningful, whereas it signifies that if we want to look for issues on human rights, we can find them all in slum areas. Hence it is self-explanatory. The given sentence seems to be a title of an article or topic or banner etc. Thus I have modified my Bengali translation above to suit the exact sense.

I hope this will shed some light on the queries posed by the asker. Thanks to all !!

disagree  Subhankar Chakrabarty: I cannot accept that the translation in question is also correct. The explanation in this context is too imaginative. I would be happy to find a reference of অবিস্ফোরিত মানবাধিকার. :) Somebody can help me in this search I think!

-> Thanks for your response. Sometimes translators may have to discover meanings from hidden contexts, or abstract thematic ideas. Only the superficial word meanings will not always give you the right meaning, especially in Bengali.

slums: human rights live here
বস্তি : মানবাধিকারের পীঠস্থান

Explanation:
This translation is incorrect.
It is wrong simply because the word 'অবিস্ফোরিত'does not convey any meaning in this context and to top it, this word is not used in the Bengali language.
The sentence means that the slum is the centre of Human Rights activities ehich is correctly conveyed through the usage of the word 'পীঠস্থান'.
