https://www.proz.com/kudoz/english-to-arabic/religion/678398...The context was the same as in this posting, which is meager, but, in the spirit helpfulness, two of us offered suggestions anyway. If our suggestions failed to fit the context, the asker should explain what we missed. To just ignore our replies and post the same term with the same context a few days later feels dismissive. The asker should engage in a collegial dialog with us. That is the purpose of this website: to be a place were mutually respective colleagues come together and share. The best contribution the asker can make is to provide additional information/context.
In this question, for instance, is the "passionate passion" the cause of being "eaten up dry," or the manner of being "eaten up dry"? Are we supposed to be "eaten up dry" because we have "passionate passion," or are we supposed to be "eaten up dry" in a manner that is "passionate"? In short, what is the meaning of the word "with"?
The key to a successful posting is open conversation. If the asker is absent from the conversation, the process will collapse.
