في الكثير من الأحيان تكون صياغة النص الأصلي ضعيفة، خاصة إذا كانت مثلا مترجمة من نص بلغة أخرى أو من كتبها لم يراعِ قواعد اللغة الإنكليزية، ومن الواضح أن الجملة بالأصل موضوعة في مكان خاطئ ويجب أن تكون بصياغة مختلفة وليس بين قوسين، فغالباً المعنى هو أو ولكن كما تعرفين، المعنى ممكن أن يكون في قلب الشاعر :)

Asker: أشكرك يا بيان، لكنني لم أجد أن كلمة "but" تعطي معنى أو أبدًا ؟ أنا مقتنعة بأو في هذا السياق ولكني أريد أن أتأكد من واقع القواميس، هل من ضمن معاني "but" أو؟
