مهم للغاية / في غاية الأهمية / مهم جداً Explanation: مهم للغاية / في غاية الأهمية / مهم جداً Reference: make the world go around/round to be extremely important, so that many ordinary events could not happen without it: Love/Money makes the world go round. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/make-the... |

يدور حول نفسه Explanation: "...يقولون أن النقود تجعل العالم يدور حول نفسه" This is more of a localized translation than exact; "go round" could be just translated to "يدور" without the rest, but in order to match it to something that would be said in the Arab world, "يدور حول نفسه" would fit better in my opinion. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 23 mins (2019-12-01 02:52:59 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Now that I think about it again, it might have a different meaning, whereas "the world" here would refer to THINGS that money can change or control; in this case it could be translated to something simple as: "يقولون أن النقود تغير الأحوال/الأشياء، ولكن هل ستحدد أيضاً هوية الرئيس الأمريكي القادم؟" https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/go_round |
