Bible translation of "God" |
|
god bless you Zoti ju bekofte. Explanation: I have translated a lot of religion articles and books and I know that this is the answer for sure. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 41 mins (2009-08-21 02:25:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- God can be translated in “Perendia” and “ Zoti”. Both translation are right.God (Perendia) is more ritual, less daily, not the standard, while the word God (Zoti) more useful by Albanians, most simple, direct, non-liturgical. If you refer the Bible the word God is replaced by the personal pronouns like He, His, Him which means that we are dealing with a male gender. God (Perendia) is a female gender. This is another reason why “Zoti” is so useful in Albania. I worked for the missionaries and God bless Albania (Zoti e bekofte Shqiperine) organization from 1991 – 1999. I still do a lot of translation for EMM and VMBM. |
