Na wat zoeken op internet, kan ik niet een soort den vinden die ook echt "franse den" wordt genoemd. Daarom denk ik niet dat het een echte soortnaam is.
Ik heb gezien dat als je zoekt op "pino francese" dat je dan wel wat hits krijgt. Misschien dat het gewoon zo simpel is?
