Dutch term or phrase: radarpost
Alright, my current conundrum is as follows: my text uses the Dutch word "radarpost" to refer to "whatever is using radar to detect objects at sea", but when doing so it is referring to both shoreside and marine radar. I may just be having a brain-fry moment in this heat, but I can't think of a translation for the term that would encompass both. "Radar station" seems a bit weird for marine radar. . . Any thoughts?

so maybe something like:

shoreside vs marine/offshore radar post

shoreside vs marine/offshore radar tower/station/installation (depending on your text)

Example sentence(s):
  • At the top of the cliff you can see the concrete remnants of a radar post that supported the gun emplacement in Hanstholm.
