Ik ben op zoek naar de Engelse term voor ''loper"'. De context is als volgt:

"Dit worden lichtlijnen genoemd. De lichten bevinden zich ook alleen boven elkaar wanneer de schipper in de as van de vaargeul vaart. De lichten branden gelijktijdig en hebben dezelfde kleur. Dit is meestal wit. Doordat het achterste licht verspringt wanneer je van koers verandert wordt hij de loper genoemd"

Het gaat dus om twee lichtbakens die een schip de juiste kant op ''leiden''. Al via het Ultramarin lexicon gezocht, maar daar was de term niet bekend.
