agree  Barend van Zadelhoff: 'bijzeil' is hier gewoon als uitleg bedoeld, het is beslist geen technische term, het probeert iets duidelijk te maken over de spinnaker: een extra zeil; een spinnaker is ook 'spinnaker' in het Engels
