I really don't understand what their point is. What is this 'rode draad'?

Explanation:
I think you're a little confused about 'marktbenadering' since you pou [...] behind it.
Some Dutch people are struggling with 'marketin' since it's English and means actually 'op-de-markt-brenging'.
In my opinion, the best translation is marktintroductie, but sometimes you find marktbewerking or marktbenadering.
