Dutch term or phrase: Mensen worden in hun waarde gelaten.
In a description by an outside consultant of reasons why employees of a certain Netherlands company like the company, it is stated that one reason is "Mensen worden in hun waarde gelaten". I translated this as "Employees have the opportunity to display their value". I believe this translation is unidiomatic, however.

agree  Barend van Zadelhoff: Without any context, I would go for this. However, HR-speak adds words like 'respect' and 'dignity' in the hope to make things more active. Basically it is about tolerance; live and let live, even if you think they are idiots, etc. My understanding of it.
