Prenup. I don't know what they mean by 'De verrekening heeft plaats naar de toestand'. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you feel it fits better, you could use some other synonym for 'toestand' such as 'state' or 'position' but it's much of a muchness.

agree  Lianne van de Ven: I can't say this sounds like straightforward Dutch to me. Maybe it's from a legal document from one of the Dutch territories in the Caribbean? In NL we would say 'in overeenstemming met' (de situatie) or possibly 'naargelang de situatie'.
