Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / New Belgian Companies Code as from 1 May 2019
Dutch term or phrase: B.V. - Besloten Vennootschap
A new form of company has been introduced by the Belgian Companies Code as from 1 May 2019. It is called "B.V. - besloten vennootschap". I gather it is very similar to the BVBA - private limited company - but does not require any minimum starting capital. I suppose one could also translate it as "private limited company" but this does not clearly distinguish it from the "traditional" BVBA. Does anyone have a(n official) translation or personal suggestion for this?
Thanks ever so much!
Kind regards,
Ingrid
