document signed by a person in his/her private capacity Explanation: I would go for sure and use "document signed by a person in his/her private capacity", since een onderhandse akte refers to some sort of private agreement. If you would rather avoid the use of the word "agreement" you can also use "private deed". Good luck. https://iate.europa.eu/search/standard/result/1545739420748/1 |

private deed Explanation: Een 'deed' heeft juridische waarde, dus meer waarde dan een gewone overeenkomst tussen twee partijen zonder getuigen, maar er wordt geen notaris bij betrokken. Reference: Ref Reference information: FWIW, from Berkien's Lexicon Financieel Management: onderhandse akte 1. private contract, private deed 2. [jur.] private instrument [jur.] private instrument, non-notarial instrument -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 days (2018-12-28 17:19:59 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- En zie ook pp. 53-55 van https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/43498337.pdf. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 days (2018-12-28 17:30:31 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- I'd personally opt for "private instrument' or - more fully - "privately executed instrument" as opposed to "public instrument" (NL authentieke akte). |
