Bus/Financial - Insurance / Verzekeringstechnische aspecten
Dutch term or phrase: verzekeringstechniek
I wrote earlier that I'd have more questions.
This one is a term that affects my entire document. The doc is is called 'Verzekeringstechnische aspecten' and it's about various insurance options. I can't quite place the term 'verzekeringstechniek. FELOnline give me (1)insurance theory and (2) underwriting.
Here some examples in NL:

2. Universal Life is een verzekeringstechniek. Unit Linked daarentegen is een methode van beleggen.

I was thinking of insurance methods. Other suggestions or confirmations appreciated.

insurance technique
Explanation:
Years ago I used to work with insurance as a broker/agent and I got to know all kinds of techniques about insurance.
Therefore 'insurance technique' is a safe term, especially in the context given.

The title you show is: Technical aspects of insurance, which indeed means the different ways of 'construing' (some) policies.

How about types of insurance. Insurance characteristics? Insurance features?

insurance theory, insurance principle, insurance-related

Explanation:
Woordboek verzekeringsbedrijf [Vermeij/Kluwer Bedrijfsinformatie] renders 'verzekeringstechniek' as 'insurance theory'. I get the impression, however, that the term 'theory' in this context might be a little overdone. If Jarry's 'forms of insurance' or other suggestions don't work, 'insurance principle' might. Further, 'verzekeringstechnische aspecten' could also be regarded and translated as 'insurance-related aspects'.

Notes to answerer
Asker: At the end I used Technical Aspects of Insurance, but for future reference, I will also keep in mind the use of insurance techniques.

insurance-related aspects

Explanation:
You should redefine the term you are asking as "verzekeringtechnische aspecten" rather than verzekeringstechniek. The chapter or section is about anything relating to the whole concept area of insurance, whether it be theory or practice, forms, techniques or assessment.
