Could you please help me out, especially with inboedelverzekering. Furniture insurance does not really goes with clothing,... and content insurance doesn´t sound fine.

contents insurance
Explanation:
It will depend on the policy whether the contents insurance covers fire and theft only or whether it covers any other risks such as flooding etc. I would just stick with "contents insurance"

Sometimes contents insurance will cover articles which are transported when you travel such as the "clothing, baggage and private articles". Again this will depend on the policy details. The strict translation of "inboedelverzekering" is "contents insurance".

Thanks Textpertise! I used "contents insurance" in my translation. Other answers are fine too, but only when you are talking of a house insurance.

disagree  Chris Hopley: Inboedelverzekering is for the stuff in your house, but not the house itself. The house would be covered by an opstalverzekering

Explanation:
clothing, luggage and private use articles are not insured they are included in the contents insurance.

'contents insurance' is the right term, it is what it says in my homeowners insurance in the USA.

neutral  jarry (X): In SA 'household content insurance'. But private use articles does not sound convincing to me in the context. In my opinion that should be 'personal belongings'.
