sum assured Explanation: I'm afraid the insurer has created his own terminology. (I wouldn't go for "the sum insured not made paid-up"!) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day3 hrs (2007-11-19 20:32:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The sum assured and the paid-up sum assured make up the total sum assured... Since both "sum assured" and "paid-up sum assured" are generally accepted and broadly used insurance terms, I wouldn't change a thing about these two. |
