Dutch term or phrase: functieaspecten
From a 'Verklaring Omtrent het gedrag':

Justis translates this as 'function aspects' but 'functie' here really means 'role' or 'job description'. Has anyone come across this term before and if so do you have a suitable translation to suggest? Aspects of job description' possibly?

role-related risks
Explanation:

risk areas money, goods or persons

role-related risks money, goods or persons

Designing an effective employment screening strategy requires a clear understanding of role-related risks of the position you’re screening for. For example, if you’re employing a cashier in a retail environment, the first step is to understand the risks associated with the role of handling cash, interacting with the public, handling drawer counts, etc. Once the risks are known, you can determine the level of background screening required to understand whether the people you’re hiring or intend to retain in the role are sufficiently qualified and trustworthy.

The following questions are designed to help you perform a role-related risk assessment. These questions should be answered for each role in your organization.

http://www.proformascreening.com/blog/2015/03/05/role-relate...

Selecting a Candidate Screening Process

The trade-off between risk and reward is the beating heart of business. Business leaders must objectively evaluate the inherent risks of an activity in the context of the organisation, and then determine how much you are willing to lose if one of the risk factors occurs.
The same approach should be applied to employment decisions.
To assess the risk-reward balance in hiring, you can rely on detailed information from a properly designed background check. Taking a risk management approach to background screening can help you to minimize the costs of hiring mistakes consistent with the risk tolerance of your organisation.

2. Role-Related Risks
Every role in your organisation carries some degree of risk. The aim of this step in the risk-reward analysis is to determine what specific risks are embedded in each job or role within the organisation. Some questions to assess your company’s role-based risk factors include:
• Does the role include access to property or financial assets?
• Does the role require unsupervised responsibility for vulnerable people, e.g., elderly, young, or disabled people?
• Would a person in this role have to drive on the job? How much?
• Does this role give the occupant management control over significant assets?
• Would the role occupant have to have specific credentials or experience?
• Will the person in this role have management authority over others?
• What degree of supervision will the employee have?
Your job-related risk analysis should describe every role in the organisation with respect to these risk factors (and other factors as appropriate for your organisation’s assets). The matrix this produces gives you the final piece of information you need to move on to designing the correct background screening protocols for every job.
In general terms, the more risk associated with a certain job or role, the more you should invest in background screening to manage the risk.

Asker: Thank you Michael for your suggestion of 'job features' particularly, which I probably would have used if Barend's response had not come in sooner. It conveys exactly the same meaning as 'functie aspecten' but in this instance I think the inclusion of 'risks' probably helps the English reader not familiar with Netherlands Certs of Conduct understand what is meant. I would like to award you 2 points for your answer but the relevant box seems to have disappeared.

This is my opinion. I know that some very competitive colleagues (like a teacher with pointed finger :) will again and again disagree with my opinion, based on the reasons we all know very well, but hey, this is my opinion. Post your option. Have a good day everyone!

Asker: Thanks RBailleux for your response which is an interesting one that I would never have come up with myself since I don't seem to think that creatively :-) It nevertheless hits the nail on the head and conveys the meaning of 'functieaspecten' adequately. I would have given you 1 point for this answer but can't find the relevant box. cheers, Ruth Karajas alias kjirt

Asker: For what it is worth, herewith some more context to 'functieaspecten': Ik heb een onderzoek naar het gedrag van betrokkene ingesteld. Ruth Karajas alias kjirt

-> Indeed, FWIW :-) Note how the awkwardness of the Dutch wording of 'functieaspect 71' - Personen die vanuit hun functie mensen en/of een organisatie (of een deel daarvan) aansturen - has been elegantly avoided/solved in the English version.
