A cable used for making an electrical connection to ground/earth: "aardrail op het bordes nabij de motoren van de transportband met behulp van VD-kabel geel/groen met een doorsnede van 70 mm2 (2 maal);"
The specification of other connections indicate the use of "blank koperdraad" (pure copper wire), so it's not sufficient to simply call this a "ground/earth wire". Is "VD" an abreviation?

Thank you, Kenneth, for your very complete answer. I especially thank you for your note regarding blank=uninsulated. I initially translated it with "uninsulated," but when I saw that the TM was filled with sentences that used the translation "blank," I went along with it. Thanks for giving me the confidence to realise the the TM was simply wrong!
