maintenance socket
Explanation:
a maintenance socket is an electrical socket or set of sockets that electrically powered maintenance equipment (cleaning machines, etc.) can be plugged into. The equipment usually has a limited length of power cable, that is why the sockets must be placed at access door height and not too far apart.

I dont understand the 10 m²? I suspect this a typo for 10 m² (10 square metres) as a guide to the spacing of the sockets around the area concerned

agree  Saskia Steur (X): or: maintenance socket outlets - I can live with that Dave, I only suggested it as it often used in BrE specifications

-> Thanks, Saskia (:-{)> Personally, I don't like using outlet., as the socket doesn't let electricity out unless you plug something (even a finger?) into it.

agree  Jack den Haan: maintenance wall socket? // OK Dave, I'll let you have it your way. Only for once though ;-) // :-)
