Dutch term or phrase: meewerkende bekisting
In een vertaling m.b.t. een bouwproject kom ik de term 'meewerkende bekisting' tegen. Voor bekisting wordt vaak de term 'formwork' gebruikt maar voor meewerkende bekisting kan ik geen Engelse term vinden. Er zou tevens een verschil zijn tussen meewerkende bekistingen binnen wegenprojecten en projecten voor gebouwen.

Bronzin:
Meewerkende bekistingen zoals breedplaten en geprofileerde staalplaten vallen niet onder dit artikel.

Generally formwork is removed when the concrete has gained adequate strength. Permanent Formwork is not removed but left in place. It may contribute to the load carrying capacity of the structure (‘participating’ formwork).

Plaatvloeren kunnen volledig ter plaatse gestort worden op een bekisting. Ze kunnen ook deels ter plaatse gestort worden, gebruik makend van een al dan niet meewerkende bekisting.
