The invention relates to a pipe connection for advance working pipes which are laid underground by an advance working technique and which have an inner cast iron pipe on which the compressive force is exerted during advance working. Each advance working pipe consists of a sleeveless inner cast iron pipe (4) and a coaxial outer casing pipe (6) which constitutes a lost shell for an intermediate layer of cement-containing material between the inner and the outer pipe. The pipe connection comprises at least one packing ring (9) arranged on a projecting section of the inner cast iron pipe.
