Dutch term or phrase: titrator
The term "titreerder" occurs a number of times in the Dutch source of a collective labour agreement. It refers to a job function. It is not the same as "lab assistant," for which another term - "laborant" - is used. The English cognate "titrator" appears to refer only to a device and not a job function. Thus I am looking for the English word for someone whose job it is to titrate.

titration assistant
Explanation:
Only one vague google hit. Spelling 'assistant' as 'assistent' gets an interesting French hit, however, as well as a non-operational German(?) link. George's second reference suggests that the job position is not exactly management board level, so that might justify the term 'assistant'.

I went with "titration assistant." Job description was "bediende die eenvoudige metingen uitvoert (meten van inhoud, kleur, zwaarte; eenvoudige metingen op probatiegoederen) op monsters, volgens werkplan en nauwkeurige onderrichtingen zonder de uitslag te interpreteren," which is the same as the link given by George.

neutral  Harry Borsje: I don't think 'responsible' and 'ensure' match with 'eenvoudige' and 'zonder ... te interpreteren'

neutral  Jack den Haan: Your 2nd reference suggests a fairly simple job position, George. I think that calling this person an analyst would almost be a case of job title "inflation". Likely calling a "werkster" an "interieur verzorgster" in Dutch ;-)

This is the job of a (lab) technician - at least that's what they are called where I work at a large in teaching hospital in the UK!
