Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Architecture / judiciary buildings
Dutch term or phrase: grenshospitium
Dear translators,
I have searched all over the internet, but cannot find the proper English translation of the word "grenshospitium" anywhere. Here is the context (it is about judicial buildings in Schiphol):
Het programma bestaat uit een voorgebouw met onder meer een rechtbank, en een besloten gebied met verschillende woongebouwen voor de Immigratie en Naturalisatie Dienst (aanmeldcentrum) en de Dienst Justitiele Inrichtingen (grenshospitium, uitzetcentrum en huis van bewaring).

The only thing I found was "refugee centre", but that could also be a place where refugees are housed. A "grenshospitium" is a place where refugees have to stay while they await deportation. Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance,
C.

migrant detention centre

Explanation:
such a detention centre is not necessarily meant for refugees, but includes immigrants, and is also not necessarily at a border.
