Danish term or phrase: lillid
I'm doing a Danish-English text that seems to contain some older-style language (capital letters everywhere, etc.) and I've come across the word "lillid", which I can find nowhere except for on Google occasionally (again, old texts). Danish connected with the Faeroe Islands appears to be involved.

Google examples which are appropriate to my text: ingen lillid til ham, ingen lillid til Gud.
Does it mean no faith or belief in, or something else please? If it's not even a Danish word, please correct me - it's in my short text and I've never seen it.
Thanks in advance.

Many thanks - it's what I thought but since I did see the "word" on Google I thought I'd better ask in case it was old or another word that had crept into the otherwise Danish text :)

agree  Thomas Weber Carlsen: No doubt in my mind that Petersson is right. There is no "lillid" in Danish. Tillid means trust, faith.
