H-læge (hoveduddannelselæge)

English translation: specialist registrar or trainee / specialty registrar or trainee / senior house officer

Danish to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Health Care
Danish term or phrase: H-læge (hoveduddannelselæge)
From what I can see this is the third step in the training process to become a qualified doctor/specialist:

turnus - residency/resident
I-læge/introduktionsstilling - introductory position
hoveduddannelselæge - ???

I understand the meaning: a doctor in the main stage of their training, or a kind of senior trainee doctor.

But I have no idea what the best term to use in English would be for either the position (hoveduddannelsesstilling) or the doctor that fills it (hoveduddannelselæge).

Text from the doc:

Den stressede læge, Den glade læge, KBU-lægen, Introlægen, H-lægen, Afdelingslægen mv.

I alt 744 læger besvarede spørgeskemaet. Heraf var 660 (89%) i uddannelsesstillinger (introduktions- og hoveduddannelsesstillinger) mens 84 (11%) var færdige som speciallæger.
