vende i fold in/into Explanation: "Fold in/into" in English. Oxford: "Mix an ingredient gently with (another ingredient), especially by lifting a mixture with a spoon so as to enclose it without stirring or beating." Ordnet: "blande to madingredienser forsigtigt sammen ved hjælp af op- og nedadgående bevægelser." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 33 mins (2017-12-17 03:44:58 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "folded into" in the past tense, of course. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/fold Reference: http://ordnet.dk/ddo/ordbog?query=vende |

stirred with or mixed with Explanation: Assuming this is loose corn kernels and not an ear of corn, you cannot use the term "folded in" here. My suggestion is "sauteed corn stirred with (or mixed with) chives". The term "folded in" is used for cake mixes where e.g. beaten egg whites or whipped cream is gently folded in the batter, this term does not fit here. |
