Danish to English translations [PRO]
Marketing - Cosmetics, Beauty / Superintendence of product claims by Danish EPA
Danish term or phrase: Indskærpelse
Context:
Indskærpelse fra Kemikalieinspektion (to a manufacturer - the Chemical Inspection Service goes on to point out that certain product claims do not conform to legislation.)
I know what is meant, but just can't come up with the right English word. Any suggestions welcomed.

OK - but I also checked Concise Oxford Dictionary Ninth Edition (electronic) which gives the following for injunction: "an authoritative warning or order". That is exactly what an 'indskærpelse" is, I believe ;

But I can see your point that it may be too strong

Notes to answerer
Asker: I'm aware of V&B's translation, but I don't think this is as strong as an injunction - it's something more like a warning, but warning seems too strong a word.

Asker: I have been looking at the EPA website and they do speak of issuing "warnings", so I think I will use that rather than injunction. Many thanks for your input.

admonition,

Explanation:
Just to be different: I think enjoinment is too weak, injunction is too strong, even though it applies to a public authority. For me it implies legal consequences, which I don't think applies here.
Admonition has severity and authority though.

Asker: I feel the same about injunction as you do, and I also thought of admonition, but see my second note to TineW. Thanks anyway.
