I was actually going to say 'floral wire', which would obviously be barking up the same tree as the rest of the gang. I really think that ought to do it - 'ståltråd' isn't necessarily super heavy duty even though the word 'steel' is right there in the name.
But if you're certain that something stronger is required, then perhaps 'binding wire' is just the thing?

Asker: Hi Pernille. Thanks for the suggestion, but this is definitely not the same wire. The hobby/craft wire in the links is all copper-based. What I need is galvanised steel for industrial/agricultural use.
