I am seeking translation for these song lyrics to English. I know that the song is about St. John, but can't interpret anything else. Can anyone help please?

if there was the most of cockle and sinokvet, hey John, John

Explanation:
Koukol and sinokvet = plants:

Koukol = cockle = Agrostemma githago
Sinokvet = Cornflower-like knapweed = Jurinea cyanoides

"kedy" should be "keby"
