lower half of the statutory sentencing range Explanation: In the US they appear to use “statutory sentencing range”. In the UK I would say they put a lot more stress on “guidelines”, but I’m not sure that would work with Czech law. “The Sentencing Table in the Guidelines Manual shows the relationship between these two factors; for each pairing of offense level and criminal history category, the Table specifies a sentencing range, in months, within which the court may sentence a defendant.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Federal_Sentenci...
