Brunel Universtiy, London:

ABEYANCE

The purpose of abeyance is to temporarily suspend a student’s study. If you wish to seek abeyance from your
studies you should discuss the matter with your departmental Senior Tutor. The role of the Senior Tutor is to
advise you on matters concerning the period of abeyance you wish to take and any impact this might have on
your ability to complete your studies. The Senior Tutor should discuss the following at your meeting:

 Maximum period of registration. Please see SR2.40 for UG students and SR3.41 for PG students (see
below). You will need to agree with the Senior Tutor that there is time for you to return from your
period of abeyance to complete your studies;
 Assessments taken, or missed during the academic year-to-date;
 Any mitigating circumstances that relate to your decision to seek a period of abeyance. You do not
have to go into detail with the Senior Tutor about this and they should advise you of how to go about
submitting these circumstances in relation to any assessment that has been affected by any issues you
have faced.

Asker: Ja sam to ovako prevela: In academic years 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 his obligations were held in abeyance (he paused for two years). Je li to mogu tako ostaviti, molim za savjet.

Asker: Hvala Tomislave na mišljenju. Evo ti dodjeljujem četiri "punta". Još jednom puno hvala na kolegijalnoj pomoći.
