Eliksir je nastao u suradnji s tvrtkom “SUBAN” d.o.o., poznatim proizvođačem čajeva i biljnih pripravaka iz Samobora. Gospodin Suban, idejni autor recepta, pronašao je originalan recept, po kojem su još u 16. stoljeću redovnici franjevačkog samostana pripravljali ovaj „eliksir za dugovječnost“. Zbog svojega pomalo arhaičnog okusa, načinili smo neke male preinake na osnovni recept, jer i ukusi se s vremenom mijenjaju.
U Eliksiru se nalazi oko 20 vrsta ljekovitog bilja. Svo bilje bere se na području Žumberka i Samoborskog gorja. Od bilja su u većoj mjeri zastupljeni vrijesak, kićica, lincura, stolisnik, bijeli sljez, komorač.
