neutral  Phil Hand: You're right, but "reflect" is a weird word: teachers exam round-up; internal exam summary; performance audit; results read-through; post-exam staff meeting;

neutral  Jun Ng: "reflect" does sound weird. I would prefer "analyze", which is more straight forward.

Student-Teacher Conference

Explanation:
This is the term we use in the US for something similar. The only problem is there is no one-to-one term which corresponds exactly with a 考情分析会 but a "student-teacher conference" is typically used for the same means, that is, it can be a means to discuss things with the students, the teachers or both. A student-teacher conference can be between an individual student and their teacher or can be used as a "group student-teacher conference" between multiple students and / or multiple teachers. This term is harder to translate due to the fact the Chinese education system focuses more on tests and negative re-enforcement (for instance, yelling at students for failing) while Western education typically focuses on positive re-enforcement (rewarding even mediocre students for doing better than normal). Due to these vast cultural differences, the term "student-teacher conference" or "group student-teacher conference" would be the best way to express this concept especially with a bit of explanation. Traditionally, student-teacher conferences are used to address anything from problems to helping students decide on colleges to rewarding them for their hard work.

学校每次考试完后都有考情分析会,年级的领导说一下,对班级成绩不好的老师,点名表扬几个,批评几个,再讨论一下找原因。
Every time our tests (you may also use "finals" here) are graded, our school holds a group student-teacher conference about the test. The grade principal will comment on the tests. They will address every teacher whose students have less than satisfactory grades, throw down some of the attendance sheets [in anger], criticize others and discuss the reasons for their performance.

Example sentence(s):
  • Our school holds a student teacher conference every time we have finals.
  • We had a group student teacher conference after my class was caught cheating on the exam.

disagree  Jun Ng: In China, students are not involved in such meetings. These meetings are used to summarize and analyze the test results amongst teachers.
