What is the Spanish term for 磷酸二氫鉀? Fosfato monopotásico?
I had found other terms but the labolatories do not recognize them, they just know the fosfato monopotásico. Is this the right thing in Spanish?

Explanation:
Hi Kalavinkas,

It's always a good idea to use a numerical identifier for chemicals as many names can be used for one chemical so it can cause confusion. The most commonly used number is the CAS number. Searching for "磷酸二氫鉀" CAS号 you will find the CAS no. is 7778-77-0 for which common names are Monopotassium phosphate, MKP, (also potassium dihydrogenphosphate, KDP, or monobasic potassium phosphate). So the Spanish name Fosfato monopotásico seems correct, but it's best to also write the CAS no. in brackets after the name when communicating about chemicals. You don't want a client placing an order for the wrong chemical or mixing the wrong chemicals together! Even in the chemical industry, chemical names and CAS numbers are used togethe for clear identification as some chemicals can have over 50 commonly used names. If possible it's always best to ask the manufacturer for the CAS number, otherwise an online search for the commonly used CAS number is a second best option.
