Chinese term or phrase: 打出去
These are answers to a survey about selling cars. There are two instances where I cannot figure out the meaning of 打:

品牌打出去了 and 知名度打得出去.

I have no other context, which certainly doesn't help. I don't even know what questions were being asked, I only have access to the answers.

English translation:publicised/ made known
Explanation:
品牌打出去了 means that a brand has been publicised and 知名度打得出去 means that [product/ brand] awareness can be raised (this depends on the full context tho). 打出去 in this context simply means that something has been publicised/ made known to the public.

brand promoted ... reputation good enough for promotion the market

Explanation:
When doing marketing for a brand, the Chinese has the usual way of saying which is "to promote the brand" is 打知名度 - to build popularity。

I think the meaning of the first 打 for the brand is : The brand has been promoted (in the market). 打出去了

The second 打 for ‘reputation’ or 知名度 can be translated as 'Its reputation is (good enough) for promotion in the market. 打得出去

Obviously 打 does not have the conventional meaning of beat, hit, call (phone) :) but has the implied meaning of stimulating, introducing. :)

My two pennies of worth.
