专用字体

I’m not against interpreting it as specially commissioned custom fonts. In fact this is how I would have interpreted it myself. However, I’m just no longer sure after seeing this:

“摄影、租片、专用字体的购买、额外的彩色打印、手册编印、色票打样印刷等事项

广告的设计和执行过程中的步骤。” (http://www.proz.com/kudoz/chinese_to_english/advertising_pub... )

I’m not sure if these are the general procedures for the agency in question, or if these are procedures for a specific campaign. If these are general procedures, then it would be quite unlikely that they commissioned custom type every time. (For specific high profile campaigns, of course, it is possible.)

That’s the reason I have “reservations” about interpreting it as “specially commissioned custom fonts”. This might as well be the correct interpretation, but the extra context is muddying the waters.

Perhaps if the Asker can provide a bit more context (such as whether these are general procedures or procedures for a specific campaign) then things can be more certain.
