Catalan term or phrase: Servel: CAR
Hi all -

I am translating a medical document from Spanish however the top part of the standard form uses an abbreviation in Catalan which I am not familiar with.

Here is the context:
Nom: ---
Data Naix: ---
NASS: ---
Servel: CAR
Data:

I am not sure what Servel: CAR might refer to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Explanation:
Ciao Michael,

I'm quite sure about the translation of "servei" in this context, but CAR is kinda ambiguous. Looking in Cosnautas, I see that CAR is an abbreviation for Cardiología ... would that fit in the context of this patient's history?

Just to defend/support the translation of "servei" as "service" (meaning a hospital department). For example:

"To learn to recognize and treat all aspects of cardiovascular disease in patients who present to the inpatient cardiology service."

"Three junior residents rotate through the gastroenterology service at Children's Hospital each month. "

etc. Lots of uses of "service" from native English-speaking writers.

Michael, what about Cardiology? Is this patient being treated for heart disease?
