Catalan term or phrase: normalització lingüística
This is a phrase that anyone who speaks Catalan knows very, very well, so how is it I've never had to translate it before???

I'm covered in embarrassment and any help would be appreciated - I don't even know if there is a "standard" translation into English...

FYI the god of Google suggests the following:
linguistic standardization
linguistic normalization
language normalization
language standardization

I just don't know how to choose and if there are "matisos" involved I'm not sensitive to. :-/

Thanking you all! :0)

FWIW, the Catalan organisation in charge of normalització lingüística consistently translates it as "linguistic standardization" in English.
