'Distribucijski kanal je grupa pojedinaca i organizacija koji usmjeravaju tok proizvoda od proizvodjaca do potrosaca. Vecina distribucijskih kanala (ali ne i svi) imaju marketinske posrednike. Marketinski posrednik povezuje proizvodjace s drugim posrednicima ili krajnjim korisnicima proizvoda. Posrednici su takodjer i trgovci na malo i na veliko.'
