I'm going out on a limb here and guessing ... that you seem a bit upset :-)
Neither keshab, Shera Lyn Parpia nor indeed Martin Cassell were objecting to your asking this question. The purpose of pointing out the guidelines to newcomers is merely to enable them (this means you) to learn about the posting guidelines and use them in future.
Believe me, if the members had felt that your question constituted a serious violation of rules, it would have been *gone*.
So just tone down the aggression, chill, and keep asking questions. Try to follow the posting guidelines and please, please don't get miffed just because someone well-meaning member explains them to you. Learning the community rules is also part of the learning process.
