That MilitaryCupid profile was a stalker/impersonation of me. Myself & the person @sandeepan5567 on Twitter both are confirming that it means 1st ray of sunshine/dawn. All of my family in India concurs with the meaning so that is the most accurate I can be.

I asked years ago to translate my name, Ayantika to how it'd look in Bengali. I've searched all over the interwebs & nobody could accurately tell me what my name meant except my Mom & aunt both said my grandma named me & it means the 1st ray of daylight/dawn. My grandma's name is Usha (means dawn) & they were looking for a synonym to her name & she picked Ayantika herself. I can't quote her as she's long passed, but i'd trust what she knows more than anyone due to her religious devotion & knowledge of scriptures, esp. Sanskrit. I hope this helps!

It would do no harm to try. Although this seems to be a Bengali name, I can't find any confirmation of its meaning in online Bengali dictionaries, and I'm very surprised that Md Abu Alam, a native speaker of Bengali, has cited a wiki answer to explain its meaning. All this suggests to me that Ayantiki is not actually a Bengali word or phrase. So perhaps it is Sanskrit, as was stated in the first source I cited. It is rather mysterious; surely it should be possible to identify the language and state the meaning by reference to some dictionary. But I have no expertise in Indo-Aryan languages, so I can't help.

I would like my name "Ayantika" translated to arabic for a tattoo design. It is originally from BENGALI decent. I do not know any Arabic so i am hoping someone can translate this for me CORRECTLY!

I am not convinced with wiki answer which says first smell of flower. No way to chk for its validity.
If any bengali dictionary/abhidhaan or sanskrit dictionary is available which explains its meaning then I could confirm which is the appropriate meaning

@Charles: I really appreciate the amount of info you have provided. The references to Ayantika as avantika (princess of Ujjaini) sounded a little out of context even when I ran basic google search.
"The first ray of Sun" reference was unknown to me. In your 2 citations it sounded more convincing and apt to the context.

Again in wiki answers it has been noted as "Smell of first blossom" as also noted by Md Abu Alam.

So till now to summarize there are 2 relevant meanings
SMELL OF FIRST FLOWER
FIRST RAY OF SUN

I might need some help from any Bengali Scholar in Kolkata where it is a popular name.

There are lot of bengali ppl whose name is Ayantika. And on my research I have found variety of meaning which are no way in sync with each other.
So I want to know the meaning of this name in bengali context.
This is the reason I have posted my question to this professional language site.

Ayantika is evidently a female forename. I have found this, but I have no idea whether it is reliable:
