Thank you for your input. I also like smart aleck and was thinking of using that. As for "clever dick," here is another link for it that indicates it is used primarily in the UK:

Although there may not be anything wrong with this term if used in the UK, I would avoid using it for a US audience.

Thank you, Olfat. Does the word الشملولة have a literal meaning?

Maybe that would help clarify the meaning a bit.

I was thinking of something like "Miss Smarty Pants" (approximately the same as "Miss Know-It-All") but am not sure if that conveys the right tone.

I marked it as potentially offensive to be on the safe side, but I am glad to know that it doesn't fall into that category. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi Amel,

In this particular context (شاطرة وشملولة) means that she is good in housekeeping and managing her chores. Obviously, B is being sarcastic. By the way, this is not offensive.
