Is this first name or last? Either way I believe you have misspelled it, as it does not sound right at all.
If it is last name, Aoki is definitely a possibility.
Also I wonder if you wronged it for Akai. This is another common family name too. (Aka is red, i is a well).
On the other hand, if it is first name, it could be Aiko, common female name. (Ai is love, ko is common female name ending).
