German term or phrase: Flächensperren – Höckersperren
Two of the security elements used for the Berlin Wall, I can't find any appropriate translations for these and would be grateful for any help.

The GDR border system was formed by a series of chain-link fences, walls, turrets and mine fields that was in place from 1961 to 1990, and was 1381 km (858 miles) in length, the entire length of the border separating East and West Germany; just as the Berlin Wall separated East and West Berlin. It was known as the \"inner-German border\" or \"German-German border\". The route of the border between the three Western occupation zones and the Soviet Zone was laid down by the victorious powers after the Second World War, and did not change when the two German states were founded after 1949.

The GDR’s official name for the border was the \"state border between the GDR and the Federal Republic of Germany and West Berlin\". In the FRG, the term Zonengrenze (zone border) was also used.

Flächensperren – Höckersperren
area obstacles, ???

Explanation:
That is at least what this link called them.

For the Höckersperren, you might want to look into barrier walls, or bollards (see the second link) because of Höcker being a bump or protuberance.

Good luck.

Flächensperren – Höckersperren
dragons teeth

Explanation:
I don't know what Flächensperren are but Höckersperren seem to be called dragons teeth. Don't ask me about the apostrophe. (Search "dragons teeth defence" in Google and you'll get all permutations.)

neutral  sylvie malich (X): They look identical to the Höckersperren in my reference pic, officially they're called "anti-tank blocks", their popular name is dragon's teeth.

Flächensperren – Höckersperren
Some reference material

Explanation:
This description might help in the translation:

And here's a link to a picture of what Höckersperren look like:
http://7grad.org/Exkursionen/Westwall/Hoeckersperre/hoeckers...

I would translate this as "anti-tank barricades/obstacles" and Flächensperren as "barricaded area."

Or like this: a large area of 38,000 steel-needle obstacles... or the like
